We are big fans of setting sprays and if you keep it in the fridge, it’s a great cooling spritz to finish off your makeup! We tried a few and some worked better than others…

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray

A popular one – this was pretty good for staying power, our make up stayed on all day. You can get Dewy, Plump or Matt and we tried the dewy and it does give you a fresh glow. Fay wore it for a wedding and it stayed on all day and night, another handy size for your handbag.

Beauty Pie Fresh Glow Breathable Setting Spray

Fay said this was the first ever setting spray she tried, a couple of years ago. We all liked it and thought it was a good price...though you do need the subscription. It is light and gives your face a nice glow, someone suggested spraying on after you moisturise and again when you’ve applied your makeup for extra staying power. It is also a handy size to keep in your bag.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

We all loved this one! It dries quickly and your make up stays on all day, Fay did an extra spritz after work as she was going straight out for the evening. There’s a reason this is loved by strippers, as it keeps their makeup in place under the harsh spotlights.

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Fix & Go Setting Spray

Not the best, if you’re running around trying to get ready we had to spray a few times…it is budget friendly and maybe better suited to when the weather is cooler.
